Nokia N9 Meego Smart Phone

Nokia N9, The sleek, stylish and unique, pure touch system (lacks physicals keys) smart phone from Nokia is expected to roll out somewhere later in 2011 so lets just have a glimpse of the features this smart phone has bagged in itself for the potential customers.

Nokia N9 was officially announced and previewed last month but the release date for this stylish smart phone has not yet been disclosed so until now we have been hearing later in 2011 release time for the Nokia N9 Smart Phone.

If we take a close look at the design of Nokia N9 we won’t be disappointed. Nokia is trusted by its customers for the good quality it offers along with stylish exterior body of its mobile phones.

As long as the design is considered, the Nokia N9 would certainly stand out in a huddle of handsets thanks to its “beautiful one-piece, unibody design where the hardware and software fit together seamlessly”, as Nokia puts it. And that’s not all: “The exterior body of the Nokia N9 is made from the durable polycarbonate material, enabling superior antenna performance over most other smart phones.”

So this is definitely one for swiping and tapping-onscreen fans, but has the ability to attract those user’s who need physical buttons and keys in their Smart Phones.

To bring the N9 alive, you just double-tap the 3.9 inch AMOLED screen; and to move between the home screens, apps and functions, swipe with your fingers. To return from an app back to home, you swipe from the edge of the screen.

The 3 home screens are designed for simple communication, and are based around apps, social networking feeds and notifications, and recently used apps. If you pinch and zoom onscreen you can see all your open apps icons.

iPhone 5

According to Sohu.com, China Telecom will offer two types of iPhone that include the iPhone 5 and a ‘simplified iPhone 4,’” says White. “Essentially, this potential ‘simplified iPhone 4′ would be a more economical version of iPhone to target a broader customer base in developing countries such as China, allowing for an expanded market opportunity.”

This is one of the first reports to suggest that instead of an either iPhone 5 or iPhone 4 lite release, Apple is most likely considering to release TWO new iPhones this year. If this is the case, the company is certainly more than making up for the “later 2011″ release of a new iPhone instead of the usual Summer timeline.

Sony Ericsson Vivaz

Sony Ericsson is generating a lot of buzz at the moment around its upcoming Xperia X10 handset, while the Vivaz runs the risk of being left in the X10's shadow with its similar first-quarter release schedule; however, the more we see of the Vivaz the more we like it.

One way of looking at the Vivaz is as the Sony Ericsson Satio Mark II. It will run on a similar build of the Symbian Series 60 platform as the Satio and is also being positioned as an entertainment handset with an imaging focus, which will morph Satio's 12-megapixel camera into 8 megapixels on the Vivaz with HD video recording.

The value of HD video recording in a mobile phone is yet to be proven, and the crux of this functionality is the ease with which you can share the videos after you've shot them. The Vivaz will ship with YouTube integration, which is nice, but what would really sell this feature is very simple video editing software bundled with the phone, something as easy to use as the iMovie software sold in Apple's iLife bundle. There is a TV-out option though, which will help share videos immediately even if you can't prepare them for public consumption beforehand.
Sony Ericsson's five-panel user interface for Symbian looks as fast and sexy as it did on the Satio, according to the product demo video released by Sony Ericsson (below). One thing that concerns us though is the use of a NetFront web browser rather than one of the excellent browsers based on Webkit available these days. We'll have to wait to see if the NetFront browser has seen any significant improvements since last year, but if it's basically the same browser in the Satio and the Nokia N97 we will be very disappointed.

nokia-windows-phone

Nokia's forthcoming Microsoft Mango-based Sea Ray, images of other Nokia smartphones running the Windows Phone OS have popped up. My Nokia Blog has posted renderings of a new crop of Nokia phones ostensibly running the Microsoft OS. The source of the images is an email supposedly from a Microsoft employee, but sent via ovi.com, Nokia'a apps website.
Although these images are unique viewing, it is unclear if they are indeed images of additional phones resulting from the partnership between Microsoft and Nokia announced last February, or elaborate fakes. Only one Nokia Windows Phone is known for certain to be releasing in 2011, making any different models prospects for 2012.

samsung-transparent

Now here’s an interesting application if you happen to own a spanking new Samsung Galaxy S – we’re talking about the Road SMS which is available exclusively via the Samsung Apps download store on the Galaxy S, which will create an optical illusion of the handset being transparent by overlaying a QWERTY keyboard on top of a live view from the phone’s camera. This basically allows you to text while walking, although your level of attention to what’s going on in the background is much less than walking with both eyes peeled on the road totally

Nokia's introduced

Nokia's introduced some interesting concept phones over the years, but its latest, called Morph, has got to be its most revolutionary/strangest yet.
The name pretty much says it all. That's because the point of Morph is to show how manufacturers may one day leverage nanotechnology to turn future mobile devices into stretchable and flexible gadgets with transparent electronics and self-cleaning surfaces.

Morph is the latest example of how Nokia's always looking at ways to push the envelope, according to company Chief Technology Officer Bob Iannucci. He said the company is always "looking at ways to reinvent the form and function of mobile device and show "what might be possible."

Hence the Morph concept is as much art as it is science and design. In fact, the Morph concept is currently on display in the Design and the Elastic Mind exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art in New York through May 12th.

Morph was developed by the Nokia Research Center (NRC) in partnership the University of Cambridge. The two announced a long term agreement to work together on joint research projects, such as the one behind Morph, last March.

Dr. Tapani Ryhanen, the head of the NRC Cambridge UK laboratory, hopes hat this combination of art and science will showcase the potential of nanoscience to a wider audience. The research we are carrying out is fundamental to this as we seek a safe and controlled way to develop and use new materials."

transparent-phone Yanko

Spotted on the Yanko Design blog comes this innovative concept device called the What You See Is What You Get.

The phone has a transparent section around the camera lens so you can see exactly what you are taking a photo of without needing to look on the LCD viewfinder.

This seems to be a bit of a backwards step to me, I much prefer to see the picture on the screen rather than looking through a viewfinder. We would love to see transparent phones though.

The Nokia transparent phone in the picture definitely looks like something That We Might see in the near future. Not much information obtained from these transparent mobile phone, but Hanphone this would be an interesting thing from a mobile phone
